The SIR MV Young Innovators Challenge is a student innovation platform that encourages school students to think creatively, solve real-world problems, and present their original ideas or working models.

Students from Classes 1 to 10 can participate. An optional category is available for Classes 11 and 12 Science stream students. School dropout children aged 6 to 18 years may also participate in the appropriate category.

Yes. Students may participate individually or in teams of two. For team participation, both students should belong to the same age group.

No. Participation is completely free.

Students can submit original ideas, models, or innovative solutions related to agriculture, healthcare, assistive technology, women safety, transportation, water and sanitation, education, AI and digital solutions, rural innovation, waste management, environment, renewable energy, and food and nutrition.

No. Students can submit a new idea, a drawing or concept, a prototype, a working model, or a completed model. A completed model is not compulsory.

No. Each student may submit only one idea. Students are encouraged to submit their best original innovation.

Students can submit their ideas through the official website using the online idea submission form.

Yes. It must be created by the student and not copied.

Yes. Parent or guardian permission is required.

Yes. Participation certificates and recognition details will be shared as per challenge guidelines.

Ideas will be evaluated based on originality, creativity, practical usefulness, problem-solving approach, presentation, and clarity.

Yes. Schools can encourage and submit multiple student ideas.

The evaluation team will review the idea. Selected students may be informed about the next stages.

No. Each idea must be submitted separately. A unique Idea ID will be generated for every submission.

Yes. Each idea will receive its own unique Idea ID and can be tracked individually.
